Ecoliq Car Wash Terms and Conditions
Effective Date: June 15, 2026
Last Updated: June 15, 2026
These Terms and Conditions govern all vehicle cleaning, mobile car wash, detailing, and related services booked with Ecoliq Car Wash, operated by ECOLIQ LLC (“Ecoliq,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).
By booking a service online, by phone, by text message, through our website, or through any authorized representative, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions.
- Booking and Service Requests
All service requests are subject to review and confirmation by Ecoliq.
A booking request does not guarantee that the service will be performed until the appointment, service location, vehicle type, selected package, and vehicle condition have been verified.
Ecoliq reserves the right to accept, reject, reschedule, modify, or cancel any service request at its discretion, including due to staffing availability, weather conditions, unsafe locations, equipment issues, inaccurate booking information, or vehicle conditions outside the scope of the selected service.
Appointment times are estimates only. While Ecoliq will make reasonable efforts to arrive within the scheduled time window, delays may occur due to traffic, weather, prior appointments, property access, vehicle condition, or other circumstances beyond our control.
- Customer Responsibilities
Customers are responsible for ensuring that:
- The vehicle is available at the scheduled time and location.
- The service location is safe, legal, accessible, and suitable for mobile car wash or detailing services.
- The vehicle is unlocked or access is provided when interior service is included.
- All personal belongings, money, documents, valuables, electronics, medications, fragile items, and other important property are removed before service begins.
- Any known vehicle issues, fragile components, leaks, electrical problems, aftermarket modifications, warning lights, prior damage, odors, stains, biological waste, mold, mildew, chemical spills, or hazardous conditions are disclosed before service.
Ecoliq is not responsible for personal items left inside the vehicle or for loss or damage to items that were not removed before the service.
- Vehicle Condition and Pre-Existing Damage
All vehicles are cleaned based on their condition at the time of service.
The customer understands that some vehicles may have pre-existing damage, wear, oxidation, fading, scratches, dents, loose trim, weak paint, failing clear coat, cracked plastics, fragile buttons, damaged leather, loose upholstery, malfunctioning electronics, water leaks, or other conditions that may become more visible during or after cleaning.
Ecoliq is not responsible for pre-existing damage or for damage caused by defective, weakened, improperly installed, aged, or deteriorated vehicle components.
If the technician believes that a normal cleaning process may create risk to the vehicle, Ecoliq may refuse, modify, or limit the service.
- Excess Mud, Hazardous Materials, and Severe Conditions
Ecoliq does not perform heavy mud removal, off-road mud removal, industrial cleaning, hazardous material cleanup, or remediation services.
Customers must remove excess mud before booking any standard service package.
Vehicles with excessive mud, heavy soil, construction debris, biological waste, urine, vomit, blood, feces, mold, mildew, strong odors, chemical spills, pest infestation, or other hazardous conditions may be refused, rescheduled, or subject to additional charges.
A minimum surcharge of 30% may apply to vehicles involving excess pet hair, urine, vomit, blood, feces, mold, mildew, or other hazardous or severe conditions.
In some cases, Ecoliq may determine that the condition is outside the scope of service and decline to perform the work.
- Pricing and Additional Charges
Prices are based on the selected service package, vehicle type, vehicle size, location, and vehicle condition.
Prices advertised online may be listed as “starting at” or “from” prices and may not include applicable taxes, surcharges, or additional services.
Ecoliq reserves the right to adjust the final price when the vehicle condition, size, service location, or requested work differs from the information provided at booking.
Additional charges may apply for:
- Excessive dirt, sand, mud, stains, spills, or debris.
- Excess pet hair.
- Odor treatment.
- Biohazard or suspected biohazard conditions.
- Oversized vehicles.
- Additional vehicles.
- Services outside the selected package.
- Waiting time, access delays, or incomplete customer instructions.
- Work requiring time beyond the normal scope of the selected package.
Work outside the selected service package may be charged at a rate of $50 per hour, or a proportional amount thereof.
Whenever practical, Ecoliq will inform the customer of additional charges before performing work outside the original service scope.
- Payment Authorization
Payment is due upon completion of the service unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Ecoliq may require a valid debit card, credit card, or other payment method to confirm or hold a reservation.
Payment may be processed through third-party payment processors, including Stripe, PayPal, or other authorized providers.
By providing payment information, the customer authorizes Ecoliq to charge the payment method for:
- The selected service.
- Approved additional services.
- Applicable taxes.
- Cancellation fees.
- No-show fees.
- Charges resulting from the customer’s failure to make the vehicle available at the scheduled time and location.
- Cancellation, Rescheduling, and No-Show Policy
Customers must provide at least 24 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule a service appointment.
Failure to provide at least 24 hours’ notice may result in a cancellation fee equal to 25% of the scheduled service price.
Same-day cancellations may result in a charge equal to 25% of the scheduled service price.
If the customer is not present, the vehicle is not available, access is not provided, the location is not accessible, or the service cannot be performed due to circumstances within the customer’s control, Ecoliq may charge up to the full value of the scheduled service.
Ecoliq may reschedule, modify, or cancel an appointment without penalty to Ecoliq due to weather, staffing, equipment failure, unsafe conditions, restricted access, or other operational issues.
When possible, Ecoliq will notify the customer in advance.
- Service Location, Safety, and Environmental Conditions
The customer is responsible for providing a service location that is safe, legal, accessible, and suitable for mobile car wash or detailing services.
Ecoliq may refuse or stop service if the technician determines that the location is unsafe, unlawful, restricted, environmentally unsuitable, lacks proper access, creates risk to the technician, vehicle, property, or public area, or violates property rules.
The customer is responsible for obtaining any required permission from property owners, property managers, employers, residential communities, commercial buildings, parking garages, or other responsible parties before the service begins.
- Independent Technicians and Service Providers
Ecoliq may use employees, contractors, subcontractors, independent technicians, vendors, or service providers to fulfill service requests.
Ecoliq reserves the right to assign, reassign, or replace a technician or service provider at any time without penalty.
- Photos, Inspection, and Quality Control
The customer authorizes Ecoliq and its technicians to take photos or videos of the vehicle before, during, and after service for documentation, quality control, damage verification, training, customer support, and dispute resolution.
Ecoliq will not intentionally publish identifiable customer information for marketing purposes without appropriate permission.
Customers are encouraged to inspect the vehicle immediately after the service is completed and to notify the technician or Ecoliq support of any concern before the technician leaves the service location.
- Battery, Lights, and Vehicle Systems
Customers are responsible for inspecting the vehicle after service to ensure that interior lights, headlights, running lights, accessory systems, doors, windows, and other vehicle systems are properly turned off or secured.
Ecoliq is not responsible for discharged batteries unless the issue was directly caused by proven negligence by Ecoliq or its technician.
- Communications
Ecoliq may contact customers by phone, email, SMS text message, or other communication methods to confirm appointments, provide appointment updates, identify the assigned technician or provider, request access information, process payments, follow up on service quality, or conduct customer satisfaction surveys.
Message and data rates may apply depending on the customer’s mobile carrier. Ecoliq is not responsible for charges imposed by the customer’s mobile service provider.
By providing a phone number, the customer consents to receive service-related communications from Ecoliq.
Marketing communications, when used, may be subject to separate consent and opt-out rules.
Customers may request to stop receiving non-essential marketing messages by following the opt-out instructions provided in the message or by contacting Ecoliq support.
- Sharing Information with Service Providers
To fulfill a service request, Ecoliq may share necessary customer information with assigned technicians, contractors, vendors, or service providers.
This may include the customer’s name, phone number, service address, vehicle information, selected package, appointment details, access instructions, and service notes.
Ecoliq may also use customer information for scheduling, customer support, payment processing, quality control, fraud prevention, and business operations.
Additional information regarding data collection and privacy practices is addressed in Ecoliq’s Privacy Policy.
- Customer Conduct
Ecoliq does not tolerate threats, harassment, verbal abuse, physical abuse, discrimination, intimidation, unsafe conduct, or inappropriate behavior toward any technician, employee, contractor, service provider, or representative.
Ecoliq reserves the right to refuse, cancel, or stop service immediately if inappropriate or unsafe behavior occurs.
- Service Guarantee
If there is clear evidence that the technician did not perform the service package as ordered, or if there is clear evidence of poor workmanship, Ecoliq may, at its discretion, correct, redo, refund, or partially refund the incomplete or unsatisfactory portion of the service.
The customer must submit any claim within 48 hours after service completion by emailing support@ecoliq.com.
Photos of the unsatisfactory portion of the service must be submitted within 24 hours after the claim is made.
Ecoliq’s primary remedy is to inspect and redo the unsatisfactory portion of the service when appropriate.
Refusing a redo appointment may limit any refund to a maximum of 20% of the service price.
Cleaning, repairing, altering, or having the vehicle serviced by the customer or a third party after the original service, without authorization from Ecoliq, may void the Service Guarantee.
- Limitations of the Service Guarantee
The Service Guarantee does not apply when:
- The customer failed to disclose vehicle conditions at booking.
- The vehicle contains excess mud, heavy stains, foul odors, pet hair, biological waste, mold, mildew, chemical spills, hazardous materials, or other severe conditions not disclosed before service.
- The customer refuses recommended additional services required to address the condition.
- The issue relates to pre-existing damage, wear, aging, oxidation, failing clear coat, weak paint, loose parts, damaged interiors, or defective vehicle components.
- The customer requested or authorized services outside Ecoliq’s standard process.
- The customer refuses or fails to pay for the service.
- The customer does not submit the claim and photos within the required time period.
Only services included in the customer’s order and additional services authorized by Ecoliq are covered by the Service Guarantee.
- Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Ecoliq’s liability for any claim related to a service shall be limited to the amount paid by the customer for the specific service giving rise to the claim.
Ecoliq is not responsible for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of use, loss of time, inconvenience, lost profits, or third-party charges, except where prohibited by law.
Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude liability for proven gross negligence, willful misconduct, or any liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
- Gift Certificates
Gift certificates are not currently offered.
If Ecoliq offers gift certificates in the future, they will be subject to the terms stated at the time of purchase and applicable law.
- Refusal of Service
Ecoliq reserves the right to refuse service to anyone, to the extent permitted by law, including but not limited to situations involving unsafe locations, inaccurate booking information, abusive conduct, hazardous vehicle conditions, excessive mud, nonpayment, repeated cancellations, restricted access, or service requests outside the scope of Ecoliq’s offerings.
- Changes to These Terms
Ecoliq may update or modify these Terms and Conditions at any time.
The version posted on Ecoliq’s website at the time of booking will apply to the customer’s service request unless otherwise required by law.
- Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict of law principles.
